Since 1996 Andrew Kuntz has been working steadily on the Fiddler's Companion, hosted on the internet by Ceolas.org, and then at Ibiblio.org, because I'm not only mad for tunes, but I'm intensely curious about context and culture which fostered and nurtured them. It doesn't seem to matter what genre --I like them all--although I have my favorites (currently Quebecois). Having a degrees in music history, music therapy and social work probably has a large part to do with it as well. In 1986 I authored a self-published music book, "Ragged But Right"--old-time songs and tunes--that received warm recognition in the OT community. This led to several articles for the periodical "The Devil's Box," and then to steady "employment" by Fiddler Magazine. Since 2000 I have contributed a "Tune History" column to the quarterly periodical.

I frequently play at local Irish and Old-Time sessions, and co-lead a monthly Quebecois session in the Mid-Hudson Valley of New York.
