Maurice Volti is listed as a violin teacher working with Carl Volti at the same Glasgow business address, while Carl is listed as a "Composer of Music". Their names, however, are pseudonyms for their real last name was Milligan and they were Scottish by birth and both father and son were given the names Archibald. The 'Volti' name was adopted as a professional affectation (see [[biography:Carl Volti]] for more.
