Isidore Soucy recorded this tune several times after this first recording in 1930, in different iterations (sometimes as parts of longer tunes) and titles: "[[Quadrille du magician]]" (1936), "[[Reel Valcartier]]" (1942), and "[[Reel des sucres]]" (1948). Another version of the tune was recorded by Berlin, N.H., fiddler Louis Riendeau in the 1970's as "[[Louie's First Tune]]."
