I love old-time music and play with my wife and friends.  I play banjo, my wife plays fiddle.  I've been studying old-time banjo for about 8 or 10 years.  When learning songs I like to do a little research on the song, the origins, who wrote it and where it came from.  I stumbled upon this site tracking down information on Elk River Blues.  Am I up to 50 words yet?
