Tune Annotations:	'''HAUNTED HOUSE, THE'''. AKA and see "[[Broderick's Jig]]," "[[Drumshambo Jig]]," "[[Leitrim Jig (The)]]," "[[Old Leitrim Jig (The)]]." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. Composed by East County Galway flute player Vincent Broderick (d. 2008), a member of the Kincora Ceili Band from 1952-57, originally titled "The Haunted House." It seems the two were bicycling home one night from playing out when they passed a manor house on a hill, from which the sounds of dancing, music and laughter could be heard. They stopped to listen for a bit, however, being tired they made their way home. The next day they tried to find the house, but only found old ruins where they had stopped.
