SKIVER THE QUILT [1]. AKA and see "Larry Redican's Jig (1)," "Legacy (2) (The)," "Tailor's Wedding (The)." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune, as given by Levey forays into G dorian melodic territory, but is more solidly based in F major in the second strain. Levey's strains are, however, reversed from others in this tune family. Significantly, there is interplay in this tune family between Scotland land Ireland (see note for "annotation:Legacy (2) (The)" for more).
