X:166 T:Daisy Fields, The R:Reel M:C| L:1/8 B:Treoir 1973 N:This tune is generally known as Coleman's Wild Irishman. Michael Coleman recorded two N:reels - O'Rouorke's Reel and The Wild Irishman and the titles appear in that order on N:the disc but in fact the first tune is a distant relation of the tune The Wild N:Irishman published in Treoir Vol. 4 No. 1, whereas the second tune - the one N:published here- bears no resemblance to it whatsoever. It is possible that the tune N:known as O'Rourke's Reel is the Wild Irishman and vice versa. To further complicate N:the story O'Neill has an entirely different title for it - The Daisy Fields.
