The title refers to a stone bridge and accompanying viewing footbridge that span the River Feugh immediately south of its confluence with the River Dee, just outside Banchory. It is a picturesque spot, where cascades speed the stream, and a good place to watch salmon leap as they travel upriver to spawn.
