'''RIALTO HORNPIPE.''' American, Hornpipe or Clog. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Can be used as a Clog. As performed by G.L. Tracy” (Ryan)— George Lowell Tracy (1855-1921) was a young man who later composed light opera and composition books, according to musicologist Charles Wolfe. Tolman calls the tune a "degenerate period hornpipe," meaning one written in a highly ornamented and arpeggiated style typical of the latter 19th century.
