Researcher Peter Cooke notes the similarity of the title to that of the Northunbrian song "Sailors are all at the bar (The)", in the John Bell (1783-1864) music manuscript collection [1] (the name refers to sand bars at the mouth of the Tyne). The Shetland reel title "Sail Her ower da Raft Trees" is also somewhat similar.
