Back to Hither Dear Husband Turn Your Eyes
HITHER, DEAR HUSBAND, TURN YOUR EYES. AKA and see "Last time I came o'er the Moor (The)." Scottish. Kidson (1922) identifies this as an early Scottish tune appearing in Orpheus Caledonius (1725, p. 6). The melody also served as Air 12, Act Iii (t), of John Gay's Beggar's Opera (1728).
