MY LORD CUTT'S DELIGHT. English, Country Dance Tune (whole time). England; Northumberland, London. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was entered in the 1694 music manuscript of Northumbrian fiddler Henry Atkinson (p. 120) as "My Lord Cutt's Delight," but was printed by Henry Playford in his Dancing Master 11th edition (1701, as well as in subsequent editions) as "St. Catherine."
