Hugh Dunlop's name is attached as composer to a few tunes in the Kerr's collections, such as "Rob Ralston's Strathspey," "Bob Simms," "Sundrum House (3)," "Willie Donaldson's Hornpipe" and "John Howat's Reel." Dunlop was one of the subscribers to J. Scott Skinner's Miller 'o Hirn collection, listed as a "Solo Flautist, Sims Reeves’ Concerts, 7 Elmwood Street, Harrogate."
