MRS. GEORGE TAYLOR. Canadian, Strathspey. Canada, Cape Breton. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Cape Breton fiddler and composer Dan R. MacDonald (1911–1976) while he was in Germany in 1945. George Taylor was the owner of several record labels, including Rodeo, Banff, Celtic and Melbourne. He built Rodeo from its inception in 1949 into a successful venture and retired in 1985. The label lasted until 2010. See also "Mr. George Taylor."
