Back to Kilfenora Slide (The)


KILFENORA SLIDE. Irish, Slide (12/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. Popularized by the Kilfenora Céilí Band (North Clare) in the 1950's. The first strain is shared with the jig "Darby Kelly", found in the music manuscript collection of John Rook (Waverly, Cumbria, 1840).
