A different tune than MacDonald's (Skye) "Kiss the Lass Ye Like the Best (1)." The melody appears in the (James ) Gillespie Manuscript of Perth (1768), but John Glen (1891) finds the earliest printing of the tune in Robert Bremner's 1757 collection (p. 54).
