KITTY SEAN'S (BARN DANCE). AKA - "Kitty Sean Cunningham's Barn Dance." Irish, Barn Dance (4/4 time). Ireland, County Donegal. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Picked up by Dermot McLaughlin and other Donegal fiddlers from the lilting of the elderly (and very hospitable) Kitty Sean Cunningham, of Teelin, Donegal, a lover of dance and traditional music and a resource for the area's older traditional repertoire. The tune was popularized by influential Donegal fiddler James Byrne.
