LADIES HORNPIPE [2], THE. Scottish, Hornpipe. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. The tune is a composition of Captain D.R.McLennan, the less famous brother of Pipe Major G.S. McLennan, one of the seminal figures of Highland bagpiping. It was originally entitled "Joe McGann's Fiddle."
