LADY BOYD'S REEL. AKA - "Lady Boyes Rant." AKA and see "Eight Men of Muidart (1)." English, English; Reel or Rant. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. The melody appears in David Rutherford's Rutherford's Compleat Collection of 200 country Dances, vol. 2 (1760, p. 66).

Source for notated version: the 1770 music manuscript collection of Northumbrian musician William Vickers [1], about whom, unfortunately very little is known [Seattle].
