Back to Lady Coventry's Delight


LADY COVENTRY'S DELIGHT. English, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody was also published by John Johnson in his 200 Favourite Country Dances, vol. 8 (London, 1758). Lady Coventry was the celebrated Maria Gunning (see note for "Lady Coventry's Minuet" for more on her).
