LADY ELGIN'S COURTSHIP. AKA and see "Lady Madelina Sinclair's Birthday." Scottish, Reel. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB. The tune appears as "Lady Elgin's Courtship" only in the American Ryan/Cole publications, and is not to be found under this title in Scottish collections. Some note similarities to the popular Irish reel "Boyne Hunt (1)."
