COUNTESS OF DALKEITH. AKA and see "Kinrara (Strathspey) [1]." Scottish, Strathspey. B-Flat Major. Standard tuning. AB. William Marshall (1748-1833) claimed composer credit for this tune as the "Kinrara Strathspey" which appears in his First Collection of 1781. It was re-titled by the Gows and appears in their Fourth Collection of 1800 without composer credits, which has led many to cite this as another instance of the Gows' plagiarism of others' melodies.
