LEAVING GLEN URQUHART. Scottish, March (2/4 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'CCDD. Composed by Pipe Major William MacDonald (1850-1907), Craigmohr, Golspie. MacDonald's sons, William and John, both joined the Seaforth Highlanders during World War I and were killed in France on the same day in March, 1918.
