Back to Church of Dromore (The)


CHURCH OF DROMORE, THE. AKA and see "Lilt from Home (A)" Irish, Air (6/8 time). A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. O'Neill printed the melody as "A Lilt from Home" in his later Waifs and Strays of Gaelic Melody (1922). See also the jig setting of the melody, as "Talk:Miller of Glanmire (The)," "Lilting Banshee (The)" and other variants.
