Back to Let's Hunt the Horses
LET'S HUNT THE HORSES. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, West Virginia. A Mixolydian. Standard or AEae tunings (fiddle). AA'BB'. The first strain is strongly reminiscent of "Cluck Old Hen (1)." West Virginia fiddler Edden Hammons [1] (1876-1955) played the tune in AEae tuning.
