MRS. FARQUHARSON OF MONALTRIE’S DELIGHT. Scottish, Strathspey. C Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Robert Petrie, of Kirkmichael, Perthshire, dedicated his first collection to Mrs. Farquharson of Monaltrie. The principle branches of the Farquharson family were of Inverey, Invercauld and Monaltrie.
