Back to Quarry Cross Polka (The)
QUARRY CROSS, THE. AKA and see “Denis Doody's (2),” “From Billy to Jack,” “Glen Cottage Polka (2),” “Green Cottage (2) (The),” “Glin Cottage Polka (1) (The),” “Johnny O’Leary’s (1),” “St. Patrick was a Gentleman (2),” “St. Patrick was Your Patron Saint.” Irish, Polka. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. This popular Munster polka has a varitey of names, but seems derivative of the much older "St. Patrick" tune family.
