LASSES OF DONNYBROOK. AKA and see "Braes of Mar (1) (The)," "Johnny Will You Marry Me," "Lord MacDonald (1)," "Love Won't You Marry Me?," "Reel des Noces," "Sir Alexander McDonald," "Some Say the Devil's Dead." Irish, Highland. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was recorded under this title in New York in 1928 by County Longford fiddler Packie Dolan (1904-1932) and His Melody Boys.
