Back to Lucky Number (The)


LUCKY NUMBER, THE. Irish, Reel. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Similar to "Piper's Despair (The)" and "Curly Mike." The latter tune was also in the Jeremiah Breen manuscript.

Source for notated version: the Rice-Walsh manuscript, a collection of music from the repertoire of Jeremiah Breen, a blind fiddler from North Kerry, notated by his student [O'Neill].
