Back to Quadrille de Loretteville (1) (partie)
QUADRILLE DE LORETTEVILLE [1] (partie). French-Canadian, Galope (2/4 time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'A"A"'. A part of a larger quadrille set. This tune is in the form a a galop/galope, a 2/4 time tune similar to a polka that is meant for a particular dance figure called a galope. The tune was recorded in Quebec in March, 1980, by Quebec accordion player Philippe Bruneau [1].
