COLLIER'S JIG, THE. AKA and see "Do You Want Anymore?" Irish, Jig. D Mixolydian/Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A jig-time setting of "The Collier's Reel," which appears in O'Neill's as "Do You Want Anymore?" The jig was in the repertoire of Clare accordion player Bobby Gardiner, but was first recorded by Glenamona, Kilskeer, County Meath fiddler Frank O'Higgins (1891-1975) in Dublin in 1937 under the title "Do You Want Anymore?" (the name of the tune as given by Francis O'Neill in Dance Music of Ireland, 1907).
