Back to Village Green (The)
VILLAGE GREEN, THE. AKA and see “First Month of Spring.” Piper Mike Carney recorded the tune, usually called “First Month of Spring,” on a cylinder in the early 20th century. Carney taught pipes to Tom Busby when the latter emigrated to New York from County Fermanagh in the 1930's.
