Back to Village Festival (1) (The)


VILLAGE FESTIVAL, THE. Scottish, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). Composed by Carl Volti, born Archibald Milligan in Glasgow in 1849. Volti, a fiddler, composed many tunes found in the Kerr’s collections and also published several tutors, albums of popular songs, national overtures, etc. (Nigel Gatherer).
