O'Neill, in Music of Ireland: 1850 Melodies (1903), prints the identical tune under the title "Mary with the Amber Locks."
Source for notated version: Irish collector Edward Bunting noted the tune at Deel, Castle Ballina, County Mayo, in 1792.
