MAMOU TWO-STEP [3]. AKA and see "Ella's Waltz," "Heaven's Gate Waltz." American, Waltz. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The waltz is an adaption by David Mansfield of "Mamou Two-Step" as played by Cajun musician Doug Kershaw [1]. Mansfield scored the film "Heaven's Gate," in which this waltz appeared (Mansfield himself appears in the film playing the fiddle while roller skating).
