McARDLE'S FAVORITE (Roga Mic-Arduil). AKA and see "Buachaillín Buidhe (An)," "Maidens of Tir Eoghain (The)," "Out on the Ocean (2)," "Ship in Full Sail," "Paddy the Dandy," "Pride of Leinster," "Ships in Full Sail." Irish, Double Jig. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. O'Neill also prints a hornpipe "Hugh McArdle's Fancy" (MOI, No. 1680), also collected by James O'Neill, who may have had them from the same source (although there is no mention of a "McArdle" in O'Neill's Irish Minstrels and Musicians).
