CAPTAIN CAMPBELL OF BLYTHSWOOD'S FAVOURITE. Scottish, Slow Strathspey (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by Scottish dancing master and musician Biography:Duncan MacIntyre. Captain Archibald Campbell inherited the estates fo Blythswood in 1794, when his brother, Captain John Campbell was killed at Martinico. At the time, Archibald was a prisoner at Toulon. He sold Blythswood in 1802.
