MOONEY'S REEL. AKA and see "Green Pease Straw," "Milkmaid (4) (The)," "Paddy Ryan's Dream (1)," "Tommy Peoples Reel (2)." Irish, Reel. Ireland, County Donegal. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB'. Called 'the County Donegal version of "Paddy Ryan's Dream (1)."' Caoimhin Mac Aoidh remarks that the "Mooney's" title was not named for famous fiddlers Francie and Mairead Mooney, but that "the name is older than that and this specific Mooney was a renowned character."
