MUNSTER OUTCRY, THE (Gair Mumaineac). Irish, March (4/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. O'Neill (1903) prints 'Outcry' marches for each of the four ancient provinces; Leinster, Ulster, Connacht and Munster, all copied from Joseph C. Walker’s Historical Memoirs of the Irish Bards (Dublin, 1786) where "Munster Outcry" appears as "Gair Mumaineac."
