Tune properties and standard notation
CAT WI' THE LANG TAIL. Scottish. A tune that incorporates pizzicato effects appearing in James Davie's Caledonian Repository (1829). Davie (1783-1857) was a flute player, composer and teacher in Aberdeen who published his collection in four volumes.
