NEW MARRIED COUPLE [1] (An Lanamuin Nuad). AKA and see "Joys of Wedlock (1) (The)," Irish, Double Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Cork cleric biography:James Goodman (1828-1896) printed the tune under the title "Joys of Wedlock (1) (The)," although, confusingly, he had another (unrelated) jig in his collection with the title "New-Married Couple (2) (The)".
