Back to New Century (2) (The)
NEW CENTURY [2], THE (An Ceadbliadain Nuad). Irish, Hornpipe. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The title undoubtedly refers to the new 20th century, corresponding to the time Chicago collector, flute player and Chief of Police, Francis O'Neill, prepared his first publication, Music of Ireland (1903), and the heyday of the Chicago Irish Music Club.
