CARPENTER'S MARCH, THE. Irish, Air, March (6/8 time). E Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. O'Neill (1913) mentions that Petrie included two entirely dissimilar tunes by this title in his collections. This piece had words set to it, as Petrie indicates the 2nd strain is a chorus.
