OFF TO DONNYBROOK. AKA and see "Big Ship Come Over the Bay (The)," "Bouchaleen Buidhe (The)," "Going to Donnybrook," "Humors of Donnybrook (2)," "Kitty's Wedding (2)," "Maidens of Tir Eoghain (The)," "McArdle's Fancy," "Out on the Ocean (2)," "Paddy the Dandy (1)," "Pride of Leinster," "Ships in Full Sail," "Three Little Drummers (2) (The)." Irish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. County Sligo fiddler James Morrison recorded the tune in New York in 1924 as "Ships in Full Sail," however, a variant of tune with the 'Donnybrook' title ("Humours of Donnybrook") can be foun in the manuscript of the Gunn Family of County Fermanagh (1865).
