USA, southwestern Pa. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. This air has been known both as a dance and march air. The Pennsylvania version given by Bayard has collapsed two of the parts that appear in older printed versions into one. Amzi Eccles was an old Monongahela fifer and band leader.
