Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. Martin Mulvihill gives this tune as an accompaniment for the dance The Haymakers' Jig. The tune was recorded by Donegal fiddler Neil O'Boyle (Neillidh Boyle, 1887-1961) in Dublin in 1937 as "Over the Hills"; Mulvihill's title "Old as the Hills" may simply be a miss-hearing.
