OLD BLIND DOG. AKA and see "Old Gray Mare (The)," "Old Yeller Dog." Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Kentucky. A variation on "Old Gray Mare (The)" or "Old Gray Horse Came Tearing Out of the Wilderness." The tune was recorded by Jimmy Johnson's String Band in Richmond, Indiana, in August, 1932; Andy Palmer was the fiddler.
