CARRALLAN'S LAMENT. Scottish, Air (3/4 time). A Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. An air of unknown provenance, despite Oswald's apparent attribution to Irish harper Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738). Oswald appears to be the only source for the tune.

Source for notated version:

Printed sources: Oswald (Caledonian Pocket Companion, Book 8), 1760; p. 14.
