CALLAHAN'S REEL [2]. AKA and see "Kate Kelly's Fancy." Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. Probably the tune recorded by the Library of Congress, 1938, by Patrick Bonner, St. James, Beaver Island, Michigan (as "Callahan's Reel"). The island was home to a large immigrant Irish population at the beginning of the 20th century.
