BOATMAN [4], THE (Fear a' bhata). AKA - "Fhir a bhata." Scottish, Slow Air (3/4 time). E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA. A different tune than Simon Fraser's ("Boatman (3)"). There are several airs by this title in Scottish repertory. Logan's and Martin's, while different, have a similar melodic contour.
